NEW DELHI: India has announced the launch of the first generic version of its popular prescription painkiller, the drug used to treat acute pain caused by various forms of cancer, including the heart disease drug Nexium.

New Delhi, May 22 -- The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a generic version of the drug for the treatment of acute pain due to chronic kidney disease, but has decided to market the generic version in a much more affordable manner to make a difference.

The generic version of Nexium is the first version of Nexium available in India and is indicated for use in the US for the treatment of chronic kidney disease. Nexium, the first generic drug to become available in India, is the first drug in the class of drugs used to treat acute pain, such as acute chest pain and acute coronary syndrome. It works by decreasing kidney function in the kidneys, relieving the patient of pain and relieving the symptoms of the acute kidney injury (AKI).

The launch of the generic version of Nexium came after a large and successful US clinical trial conducted in India demonstrated that the drug reduced the symptoms of acute kidney injury by 80% in patients who received a dose of 20 mg daily for 3 days or 20 mg twice daily for 7 days.

The US study found that there was no evidence that the drug reduces the symptoms of AKI in patients who received a dose of 20 mg daily for 5 days or 20 mg twice daily for 7 days. The trial, published in the Journal of Kidney Disease, found no differences in the symptoms associated with acute kidney injury between those treated with the generic version of Nexium and those who received the standard dose of 20 mg.

The company's product, NEXIUM (the generic version of Nexium), is indicated for the treatment of chronic kidney disease and acute kidney injury in people with kidney disease. NEXIUM is the first drug in the class of drugs used to treat acute kidney injury.

NEXIUM is one of the most widely prescribed drug in the world and is known for its effectiveness in reducing symptoms and improving the quality of life in people suffering from chronic kidney disease and acute kidney injury.

The launch of NEXIUM is the result of a huge sales opportunity for the company, which has invested heavily in the development of its new drug products, NEXIUM, in the US and worldwide. The launch of NEXIUM in the US is expected to be successful in a number of key markets, including:

  • U. S.
  • Canada.
  • Australia.
  • Japan.
  • Mexico.
  • Switzerland.
  • South Korea.
  • Israel.
  • United Kingdom.
  • United States.
